Financial Literacy for the Next Generation

Financial Literacy classes for Middle and High School students, taught at local Park Districts throughout Chicagoland.

The need for Financial Literacy for Middle and High School students

In today's fast-paced, tech-driven world, financial literacy is a life skill as valuable as Reading and Math. However, it is NOT emphasized in school!

While 30 states require a Financial Literacy course in High School, Illinois is unfortunately NOT one of those states.

Without classes in Financial Literacy, many parents struggle with helping their children prepare for one of the most important chapters in their lives...the financial chapter.

Financial Literacy for the Next Generation can help, with classes at local Park Districts.

Think of our classes as "crash courses in early adulting" introducing financial topics like investing, debt, savings, insurance, entrepreneurship, 401K's, budgeting, interest, credit, taxes, and more!

These classes use real-world scenarios and hands-on, fun activities in order to light the fire for students to be financially literate. This sets them up for a lifetime of financial success and independence!
